Reichard

I am a NYC based performer, choreographer, and songwriter. I was born and raised in North Carolina, and began performing nearly 20 years ago. As a queer, neurodivergent kid finding my way in the world, theatre made a space for me. I fell in love with dance, music, and acting, and during college found a passion for songwriting and choreography. I attended Western Carolina University and graduated in 2022 with my BFA in musical theatre, and a minor in dance.

I believe that engaging in multiple creative disciplines enhances your ability with all of them. By working in writing, choreography, and technical theatre in addition to performance, my love and passion for performance has only grown. To see all sides of a story, from its initial internal spark, to its paper and planning phase, to the opening night and final curtain. When we reset back to a bare stage and prepare to do it all again, the story has a final moment of closure that I am always excited to experience. I am so grateful to be able to engage in art in all of these ways, and to continue to approach performance from a perspective of teamwork, creativity, and innovation.

My passions as a performer at this time are continuing to elevate queer and neurodivergent voices, fighting for trans liberation within my storytelling, and helping to support the voices of minority groups that have historically been underrepresented in our field. As a non-binary performer, I am excited to bring my unique experience to the stage, and to continue to share it through my writing and choreography.

I look forward to connecting with you, and hope to work with you in the near future!
